Great Maui Birding Experience If you want a great birding experience on Maui, this is the place to start. Wendy knows the birds, the culture, the language and the island. She leads a very friendly, informative conversation and puts you in the best spots to see the most diverse list of birds. The fact that she also sings to you is just one of the many bonuses. Lots of birds We did the full-day birdwatching tour. Our guide, Wendy Swee, was excellent. We saw 35 bird species of which 6 were life listers. We saw the Maui Alauahio.
